minimum version to connect: 1.2
In the menu: Server > Connect, click on "Add New…"
Enter the details, click on ok, select the newly added server and press "connect". If the field "password" isn't visible, still connect – the client will ask you for it when needed.
frequently done mistakes
Enter the domain name without http:// in front of it and / after it since it's not a URL you're entering, but a FQDN.
