On this page we collect ways to contribute to society.

You can run around with your phone and map the world.

For Android you can use OsmAnd or StreetComplete.

Mozilla Voice wants to build a database of voice samples to make developing applications which recognise or synthesize voice easier.

If you can write software, you can do so under an Open Source license.

But even if you don't know a single programming language, you can still contribute to FOSS by reporting bugs, translations or testing.
