===== Free and Libre alternatives to mainstream fonts =====
Many fonts have Free[(Free meaning "free" as in "free beer" and as in freedom.)] clones as alternatives. Instead of paying huge sums for "standard fonts", the Open Source font community recreated those to be freely used in any kind of project.
