x2godesktopsharing allows x2go clients to connect to a running X session, just like Teamviewer or AnyDesk. You log in via SSH to the target machine and select the running X session from a list.

Windows has a built-in remote desktop function which is called RDP (short for **R**emote **D**esktop **P**rotocol).
[[rdpwrap|RDPwrap]] enables headless RDP connections on non-datacenter versions of Windows.
